Slimlin
The Slimlin Laminated Beam Assembly is specifically designed to span 4800mm wide. Used for non-load bearing openings externally and internally:
- Comprises three tapered beams supplied up to 5400mm long and 250mm deep, secured together with three galvanised steel bushes.
- Pre-engineered and an assembled width of 200mm wide to carry gable and parapet walls.
- No props, shutter work, reinforcing steel, and onsite concrete are required.
- Non-Loadbearing walls mean single-story houses or no trusses resting above.
Kwiklin
The Kwiklin Laminated Bearer Beam Assembly
Specifically designed to span 8400mm wide. Used for heavy-duty load bearing openings externally and internally:
- Comprises two L-shaped beams supplied up to 9000mm long and 250mm deep. Assembled width: 210mm wide minimum laminated together with steel bushes.
- Simply erected to create a U-shaped beam which can if necessary, be infilled with reinforcing steel and concrete to provide extra load bearing capacity, wider applications easily shuttered and cast.
- No props, no shutter work, put into immediate use after erection.
- Site-specific applications are to be specified by an engineer using the engineer’s design charts.
